Automagic
Utility Script
for
Ubuntu
This useful little script
requires no configuration and a simple install. Once installed, running
automagic from the terminal will put a variety of utilities at your
fingertips. Need to backup your /home/ directory? It's quick and easy!
Press 3 and it will create a .tar.gz file in the /tmp/ directory for
burning to a disk. Need to compile a program? Simple press 5 and enter
the name of the .tar.gz archive and it will be extracted and compiled,
with no cleanup after. Also can configure a wi-fi connection and
refresh one that has lost a signal. Screenshot (click to enlarge):
